The versions on D105 are as per original as far as I can remember.
No additional info was added as they had to be removed from the disc originally.

Are they in their original form, as released, or have they had the bbcmicro.co.uk treatment of adding instructions?

The original Retro Software loading programs/logo display have been removed from both disk images on bbcmicro.co.uk and on D105...

Hi All,
I never had the RS loaders as the copies I had were taken off my BBC from Retroclinic.
Now that they have been posted, I have been able to add them to Disc105.

So, just re-posted Disc 105 again in section 8 with the full versions.
Thanks again to everyone who has made this possible.

Hi All,
Just re-posted Disc 110 in section 9 with the latest version of Astroblaster from Tricky.
The newer version is smaller in size with less files.

Hi All,
Just re-posted Disc 111 in section 10 with the correct version of Championship Boxing from Pan Books Ltd.

Created in January 2019... here is Games Disc 130.
Disc130.zip
(75.89 KiB) Downloaded 18 times

The disc is called Disc130.dsd so it can be loaded into a Datacentre on a real BBC without having to rename it.

The 18 games on this disc include...

Ludo from The Micro User (5.03).
Goldmine from Input Magazine (Issue 27).
Mars-Lander from Personal Software.
Fisherman Fred from Games Computing (#1).
Patience (Golden Games) from The Micro User.
Simon (AKA Pattern Memory) from Your Computer (2.10).
Pentiles from Silverlind.
Odd One Out from The Micro User (7.03).
Serpents from Personal Software.
Bomber from Acorn User (92.9).
Map Game from Acorn Programs (Vol.1).
ICBM Attack!!! from Laserbug (Issue 16).
Traditional Board Games from Garland Computing Games.
St. George And The Dragon from Personal Software.
Laserbug Grand Prix from Laserbug (Issue 9).
Whack-A-Mole! from Personal Computing Today.
Espionage from The Micro User (5.05).
Pucman from Home Computing Weekly.

NOTE: Pucman has been modified to work under OS 1.2.

EASTER EGGS: If you press ESCAPE during some of the loaders and instructions, then you can skip to loading the game... None on this disc.

All original filenames have been kept where possible, but some have been changed where they conflict with the limitations of the Disc Filing System. Copy protection routines have been removed.
This disc has also been checked for *KEY related issues and is OK.

Happy new year!
Mick.

PS. Disc 131 will be out in mid February!
Discs 132 to 135 are also in the works!

Hi All,
Just re-posted Disc 060 in section 4 as thanks to Lee, Caterpillar from C&VG has been amended as it was almost impossible. Variables at lines 430 and 450 have been amended from 8 to 16 to make your Caterpillar move further from side to side.

Hi All,
Just re-posted Disc 100 in section 6 as Secret Agent was faulty. Line 560 has been amended by forum members to correct a issue collecting 5 items. D%=1TO5 instead of 3.

Hi All,
Just re-posted D029 in Section 3 after adding the correct version of Chukee-The Upgrade For Chuckie Egg by Bit Twiddlers. This replaces the old Chuckie Egg 3 hack and the new correct version lets you choose screens and speeds etc as per original tape release.

As a result, the fake Acornsoft loader to Crazy Balloon has been removed due to disc filename limitations.

Hi All,
Just re-posted D023 in Section 3 after adding the correct version of Chuckie Egg 2 by The Caretaker. This replaces the old Chuckie Egg 2 hack and the new correct version lets you alter lives and sheets and lets you load any saved sheets from tape as per original hack.

Hi All,
Just re-posted D043 in Section 4 after adding the correct version of Chuckie Egg 4.
The author of this hack is unknown but it looks like it was created using the Chukee Upgrade.

This now means all my Chuckie Egg games should now feature text which makes it obvious they are hacks and not official A&F games.
Only the original Chuckie Egg from A&F, Chukee-The Chuckie Egg Upgrade from Bit Twiddlers and Egg-The Upgrade from Crystalsoft were sold commercially. All other Chuckie Eggs are hacks of some kind.

regards,
Mick.

Created in February 2019... here is Games Disc 131.
Disc131.zip
(71.01 KiB) Downloaded 19 times
The disc is called Disc131.dsd so it can be loaded into a Datacentre on a real BBC without having to rename it.

The 18 games on this disc include...

Squash (AKA Embryo Squash) from Personal Computing Today.
Patience from Beebug (6.09).
Join 'Em Up! from Acorn Programs (Vol.4).
Logo-Tank from The Micro User (5.05).
Targets from BBC PD (Games #7).
Snake (AKA Black Adder) from Your Computer (4.05).
Pirate from Chalksoft.
Babysitter from Acorn Programs (Vol.4).
10 Minute Game from The Micro User (5.05).
Tank Battle from Games Computing (#8).
Bazooka from Laserbug (Issue 4).
Golf (E) from Electron Computing (#5).

Quadrangle from PCW Software.
Terror Terrain from More Games For Your BBC.
Knight's Move from Fast Access (1.02).
Wall Smash (AKA Two-Wall Smash) from Giant Book Of Arcade Games.
Chomper from Pan Books Ltd.

NOTE: Pirate and Knight's Move allow you to save your score/position to disc.
Lastly, Golf is for the Electron, but works OK on the BBC Micro.

EASTER EGGS: If you press ESCAPE during some of the loaders and instructions, then you can skip to loading the game... This only works on Knight's Move.

All original filenames have been kept where possible, but some have been changed where they conflict with the limitations of the Disc Filing System. Copy protection routines have been removed.
This disc has also been checked for *KEY related issues and is OK.

Happy Valentines.
Mick.

PS. Disc 132 will be out in late March!
Discs 133 to 137 are also in the works but contain loads of type in games from books and are currently being play tested to iron out any bugs or errors.

Hi All,
Just re-posted D056 in Section 4 and D104 in section 6.
This is due to Lee finding the correct listings for Light Cycle and Caving, both by Practical Computing.
No major changes, just some REM statements etc.

regards,
Mick.
