Interest in new run of Atom addons...

Post by Prime » Fri Dec 16, 2011 11:57 am

Hi all,

I'm about to do a new run of both the Atom RGB Colour board, and a new enhanced version of the RAM-ROM board, the new version in addition to having 32K or RAM and a built in ROMbox, has the noise killer circuit provided by Kees, which allows the Atom to run at 1.7MHz, but without any interference between the screen and the CPU access to the memory.

Before I do the run I'd like to try and work out what the demand is so if you are interested in either board either reply to this thread or send me a PM letting me know you are interested.

AtomColour was about £25 last time, may be slightly more this time as the cost of the colour encoder went up :(

The RAM-ROM-Noiskiller will be somewhere around the £25-£30 range.

Shipping will of course need to be added to those prices.

Cheers.

Phill.

Hi Phil, I would be interested in 2 off the Atom RGB Colour board, and 1 off the
new enhanced version of the RAM-ROM board. Can you give me an idea of the
costs?
Thanks.

I'd be interested in a colour board certainly, and possibly a RAM-ROM board depending on how I get on with my own version. A rough idea of the costs would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Phil Young

Phill,

does the new RAM/ROM board have the right signal to control the PL6/7 bus databuffer (IC5)?

I had to remove IC5 to avoid databus pollution with my current board.

Yep, I removed one of the jumpers from the original version and changed the function of it's line to control the databuffer (it's an output from the CPLD now rather than an input !).

Cheers.

hi, tempted beyond my budget as ever ;)

.. 1 x RGB board for me please!

Quick questions, will the atom still output mono composite? And, how can I hook into up to scart/ what lead will I need.. or will it output TTL?

cheers for confirming, Iain

think it's a normal scart, but without the resistors that you need in elk/beeb cable.
