In the "also viewed" section is a far more palatable £125

No Joke

Funny, I was reading the story/diary of http://8bs.com/ - there's a comment made in about 1995 or so -

"Now you can buy 486 PC systems cheaper than your average A3010 (including monitor and hard disc)."

Fast forward to 2021 and yeah, A3010's are still much more expensive than the average PC, 486 or otherwise

This seem a bit steep: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203523201973 ... Sw-Pdg7BWN

If it sells I might be tempted to let my almost exact copy go.

No I won't, I like the machine too much.

Just to make you Mr Green  I bought my A3000 for £16 complete with 20Mb SCSI external drive and interface. Later I scored a defunct A3000 for £5 from WROCC; this had the serial chips and a 4MB memory upgrade. An IFEL IDE interface for £75 from IFEL complete with A3010 4Mb upgrade did the business. I reckon my A3000 owes me £100 including battery upgrade.

A £500 profit could be tempting except I love the A3000 and wouldn't part with it for any money. Well maybe ...
