Yay, beat my previous score from last time. A different tune on the high-score table when you beat the top score, nice touch :)

Not that I have heard it since including the high scores (well, not without hex editing CENT-HI) ;)

I wondered what the criteria was for that. Now I know. I sometimes use that to help 'boost' my score by 200 at a time but you definitely have to be careful. That bloody thing is really fast and sometimes you just can't get out of the road.

Not sure about getting the hang of it. With my reflexes I don't expect to be able to improve my score much more but as I keep playing, the more I like it! A great balance of challenges to keep you on your toes and lots of fun. So that's a flea... no wonder it's hard to hit.

I tried to follow all of the rules for the original, so most arcade strategies should work. When the centipede is low, following along and shooting from tail to head can avoid some annoying deaths.

Well, another little bump up. At a certain point the centipedes got locked into a kind of holding pattern with a window where I could pick them off to keep the numbers down while I accumulated spider points. Like shooting fish in a barrel until I shot the barrel out... 21123

Final High Score Tables Updated for Season 13, 3rd Round......

This is a very nicely reworked game by our very own Tricky on Stardot. We do have a winner and that is Chrisn with a very high score indeed. That score is not easy to achieve as it gets crazy busy the further along the path of this game you go.......congratulations go out to Chrisn on this one. =D> =D> =D>
