Midi Track Performer v2

Post by courseddent » Fri Nov 01, 2019 11:00 am

I'm looking for an image of Miditrack Performer v2 by Electromusic Research (also any other software published by them). Have the disk of it, but can't seem to copy.

Thanks!

Ah brilliant, thanks for that!

That's version 1.1 so wonder if there's a v2 floating around out there somewhere?

Is the the disk damaged, or you think it's protected?

I think it could be protected as it doesn't seem to copy. I guess I should maybe try to create an copy/image using XFER? Just haven't given it a go before.

don't use XFER as that would take 8mins & end up rippin the disc apart.

use UPURS or OmniFlop, as that takes about a minute & 'skips' across the disc surface.

If you could catalogue the disk it might help
Or attempt a *VERIFY
The disk I have is a standard 40 track, nothing exotic. Although I think there is some OSWORD &7F direct sector loading.
Maybe V2 increased the protection, although doesn't seem necessary as additional hardware is required to use it anyway?
