My latest effort. Can't see me playing this much more as it's too random (as mentioned by others).

Sorry I haven't been able to play recently, just had my first go, I don't think I am going to be any good at this one!

Just getting started with this one, I'm up to level 2 but haven't been able to get to the second ladder yet. Best so far: 7430.

Interesting game, a new one on me... some elements of Popeye / Boxer, and also Dig Dug / The Mine. Fun, but frustratingly random as other people have pointed out. Took about a dozen games before I even got to the second level.

What took you so long. It took me at least 50 or 60 games to get to the 2nd level, maybe even more.

Maybe it was a few more games than that, I lost count :)

Can't beat my previous score, although I did get to 9,800 again. I think I've had it with this one, it's just too random and frustrating. Might come back to it later.

Still stuck on level 2, but I broke the 10k and squeezed a few more points out of it.

Well, I got past level 3 with 3 lives left but, when the levels wrap around, level 4 is a lot more manic than level 1. Didn't improve my score though :(

Got very close to beating level 2 but it wouldn't let me through, I guess because I hadn't collected all the keys.
Some more games and I got up to 12280 while stuck on level 2.

That extra 2.5k you got is that extra life so you did about what usually happens.

True but, you chose it and..... it's also a bit of an unfair game due to it's randomness.

It's kind of cool playing some of these old games and finding out their foibles.

High Score Tables Updated for the 8th Round......

Everyone that played this one deserves credit. This game is extremely subject to randomness as several (including me) have mentioned. Nevertheless it does have a certain appeal but it does wear thin at times. I found myself not wanting to play this in really long stretches so it loses it's 're-play' characteristic in my view.

Anyway, there were several good scores but in the end the winners is
KarateEd with a score of just over 17k......Really, I'm not even sure how I got that high a score because I certainly could not repeat it. This also points to the randomness of the game. Anyway, I suppose self-congratulations are in order so pat on the back from my twisted arm just for playing the game and the same for all the rest of you that persevered for whatever score you got...... =D> =D> =D>
