Acorn items coming up soon

Post by fordp » Wed Aug 14, 2019 4:41 pm

I will be selling various surplus Acorn related gear on Fleabay in the next week or two. I have been having a whole house de-clutter.

My first listing is a 6502 second processor which is probably broken but I am not sure I could not get it working the last time I tried it but then you do get the tarnished pins issue so maybe it works?

The next items will be various surplus 5.25 and 3.5inch floppy drives.

I hope to fix some computers and sell those and have a couple of BBC and Acorn Tape drives I may well sell too.

If you are looking for something then you could post here and I could then maybe sell privately.

I will also have some free if you want them manuals/ books where you just need to stump up postage if you want them watch this space.

Sorry I have very few games. I may have Elite sculling around somewhere. I will be looking in all of my boxes in the coming days so will get back to you if I find anything. (I have tons of Spectrum tapes but I guess you do not want those!)

Hehe, I'm actually connected to the Spectrum scene for a greater time than with the BBC. There are very few titles that would interest me but I'd sure love to see what you got at some point :)

If you're happy to offer them direct here, then that's fine! :) You'd also save on ebay fees :D

I like the auction system as I do not have to set or think about price. I always start the auction at a very low price and am happy to sell at whatever price it ends up at.

Hi.

I could do with anything on a working 5 1/4" disk as I have a double drive which apparently one workd and one doesn't.

I have yet to acquire anything to test it with and have literally only got my beeb fixed and up and running this morning.

If you had a list of software that would be helpful.

If you do have Elite on disk for the Beeb B, then I'd definitely have that as I am in the process of collecting all the versions of Elite for the varioous platforms that I have (Electron, Speccy, Amstrad, Beeb etc)

Let me know.

Regards.

Col.
BBC B's... I had five but was stupid when young and skipped them. (Yeah I know)
Now have an Issue 7 B with a few issues I'm working through.
Also have a dual disk drive (only one works at the moment) but no disks.
Retro computers.... money pits.
