Damn, forgot to play the previous game :(

Here's a token score for this one, in case I don't have time to play it again.

Couple of tips:
First job is to activate the magnet powerup. This enables you to aim the ball and also helps you collect other tokens.
After that, the extended bat helps as does the wrecking ball.
Those three powerups can be combined.
Great tips, these helped me get up to level 5 :D My new high score... 158,400

Wow! Just played this just now, this evening when I was tired.
Utterly hopeless! Couldn't keep up with the ball at all.
Just a measley 81500 points.
Going to try again tomorrow morning first thing and see how much difference it makes...

Has anybody else noticed a glitch that starts around level 5 or 6? The bat freezes and this can cause a loss of life. I can try and get a screen shot as sometimes this happens when the sticky paddle bonus is activated and the ball appears way to the left of the bat even though the ball is caught on the bat. This doesn't happen in the earlier levels.

Looks like I missed a couple of rounds so here is a quick blast of Impact. I had this on the electron as a kid so I'd probably get a much better score if I had time to put some effort in.

Thanks :). To be fair, I did buy it when it first came out on the Electron but hadn't played it for about 30 years. I enjoy playing against other people and I came across this forum by accident through an Electron page on Facebook. I think a lot of the older games have more in the way of playability than today's games and I always find it amazing what programmers could do with very limited memory compared with today. Glad to be on board :D .
