There's a huge stack of 'em: https://www.vintag.es/2019/01/office-86.html

Pro machines obviously but I'd be interested to check up on these graphics machines: Image

Looks like a Tandy CoCo 2

(Image from this page which mostly about the original CoCo. The Dragon is a bit like a CoCo, I think, because both are rather like a reference design for a 6809 computer.)

(Not too surprising, the quoted magazine Rainbow was all about the CoCo series.)

(Here's the article in question, with the photos. The TRS-80 brand covered a whole range, from pocket computer up to a multiuser workstation. The CoCo was just one sub-series.)

Well we can close the book on that mystery. Thanks very much for looking into it.

Vintag.es could at least have credited that link for us. And flipping through, look at all those walls of BASIC, waiting to be typed in by ambivalent readers across America. The market preferred pre-packaged software over there.

Damn impressive looking MIDI bits though: https://archive.org/details/rainbowmaga ... 7/page/n57

The Coco as a music workstation. My estimation of that old toyshop machine's gone up.
