System 6809 card...

Post by Prime » Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:24 pm

Hi all,

Now I have the clone of the 6809 card booting to the monitor pictures on facebook here (should be public) :

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... f85e5c1a28

Does anyone have any software to run on this beast, I know that the CfCH has the disks that used to be Chris' Acorns, I plan to archive them next time I'm there.....but does anyone have any images already?

Failing that......might be time to start working on a Flex or NitrOS9 port....

Cheers.

Phill.

Excellent stuff.

Can't help with the disks but I do have the Flex Adaptation Guide and the sources if you haven't already found them...

Yeah if you have links to them that would be great....

I do actually have some Flex disks and software, though they are Dragon versions, which of course means that they are mixed format disks as the DragonDos controller (like the 1770) can do DD and SD.....the 8271 in the system of course can only do SD.

Cheers.

I have written a few simple device drivers for Flex, I have a monitor rom and some kind of TinyBasic for my 6809 board. On my Atom runs a terminal program that communicates with this board.

I will collect this software and post it here within a few days.

Bbc basic with assembler. Its unfinished and would need tweaking for whatever monitor youre using though if you get flex working it should work out of the box but only with basic load/save. Pm me if you're interested
