Bomb Alert

Post by iamaran » Sat Jul 28, 2018 5:41 pm

The version on the site (0.15) crashes when you win the game as there is no PROCwon! There's no PROCwin or similar either.

Code: Select all

 3190IF V%=3 PRINT"The bomb has been disarmed.":PROCwon
I'm assuming this came from JJR-09-1 as the same version is found there.

Was the version you wrote the walkthrough for in 2011 any different?

If not, would you like to suggest what actions PROCwon would have performed (e.g. what message PROCwon would have printed on screen)? I can add it to the program if you like.

I wrote the walkthrough today. If there's no newer version around then I guess adding our own PROCwon is one solution.

Ah! So the "Edited" date on CASA is a bit misleading then.

Yes. What should it say?

Yeah, I guess. I've never considered that adding an attachment, such as a solution, doesn't count as an edit.

Oh something like
"You have succeeded in saving your country. Expect a medal at the very least".

Nice! I don't know the context, but unfortunately you're too late anyway... :(
