Broke the million here - I tried a bit harder to always get red fill, and got past the two super-fast nasties level (and messed up the next easy one).

Phew!
Not sure I'll beat this although on one of the 5 line levels I took a hit by getting 4 of them within a half screen pink section so there are some points to be gained there. I beat the 2 super-fast nasties and the easy level after it with 2 lives remaining but the chasers are so fast I don't think this level can be completed.

It seems I used the version of this that we used last time it featured in a High Score Challenge with the fixed High score table.

Just post what you've got. There is no need to be embarrassed, I'm really good at this game but I'm terrible at others. The more people join in the better it gets.

Yes. Time is they key as I think the game is pretty fair and it's just a case of learning how to beat it. As for me I played this for hours (hundreds probably!) when I was a kid.

High Score Tables Updated......

Ed...... :-)

PS - Please when posting your score on this one, also post in text what you got, just because of the million point issue. I want to try to be accurate and would ask that people check that I have their scores correct on this one. If not, just post in here and I'll correct it.

Thanks,

Ed...... :-)

Hey Matt, is that over 1 million? That's why I need people to post in text as well as show their picture of achievement. I've no way of know if this is over a million or in the thousands otherwise.

Thanks,

Sorry I missed your posting about that, I wish it was over a million, but it's not, on this occasion what you see is what I got !!

If it's over a million it will appear above the authors score in the high score table.

Final High Score Tables updated for Round 9......

This game was very well attended by many of the same players plus some that hadn't been around for a while and a newcomer to the HSC. Welcome Paul. Today,
Sydney proved his skill at this game by blowing away the competition with a very high score. Nicely done Sir Syd. =D> =D> =D>

I am busy porting it so that I can give myself a head start, I will just ignore the fact it has finished. Well done all

There's nothing wrong with putting the score up even though the competition is ended. It's encouraged in fact if you have a score, it just won't count any more in this HSC.
