Hello all.

Have you seen this project here?

Looks great! It enables the Beeb to download (!) ssd images from the internet and mount them!

Let's read the code and talk about this...

Agreed, this is a very nice piece of work - the creator of that project is 8bitkick and is a member of this very forum!
