Large project box

Post by paulv » Wed Jan 17, 2018 10:27 pm

Does anyone know of a project box that's large enough to house a BBC Micro keyboard? I've been looking for an hour or two now and can't find anything suitable.

Before anyone asks, the keyboard I have is from a very, very dead BBC Micro that someone had on Stardot many years ago and I got the keyboard for postage, cleaned and repaired it and keep it as a spare. I've decided to take the plunge and turn it into a USB keyboard now rather than it sit in one of the storage boxes but I can't find anything suitable to house it :-/

Thanks

Paul

Sounds like you want a Hammond 1456WL1BKBU. Or near equivalent.

FWIW, I got there by searching for "industrial console enclosure".

I think I've got a couple of these somewhere - I think they were made by Oak or Solidisk?

Paul: If you want one, I can try to dig one out for you.

If you want a plastic rectangular box with a flat top, search for 19 inch rack plastic boxes.

E.g. On eBay "Black 19 Inch ABS Plastic Rack Mount Case Box Enclosure"
