Ok, so we know roughly how many games are missing but to turn it on its head, how many games do we have?
A figure from the BBC Micro Games Archive would do... I'd expect the found% to be approximately 90%?

There are 99 pages of games on bbcmicro.co.uk
There are 36 games per page.
So that's approximately 3600 games as some are compilation entries.
That is all the commercial games, magazine type-ins, book listings PD software etc.

NOTES:
Added "Mastermind" to the missing games list and REVERSI 1 OR REVERSI 2 from Micro Power.
Everygamegoing has a game from Micro Power called "Code Breaker" or "Codebreaker". This could be Mastermind.
Everygamegoing has the cassette inlay but no game. Neither does Stairway to Hell.
I am also unsure whether we have REVERSI 1 or REVERSI 2 archived??

Nope it's not Mastermind. And it's referred to as "Codebuster" in-game.

I still have a suspicion that this could be the game that was advertised as "MASTERMIND" in those old adverts.
It quite literally is Mastermind - - - place the colours in order...

Time will tell!

Here are a couple of adverts from CSL MICRODATA for their BEEBTAPES.
The first is from Acorn User March 1983.
*An earlier advert in Personal Computing today October 1982 suggests beebtape 1 would be published in September. This must be September 1982, which puts beebtape 2 as 1982 and 3,4,5 and 6 as 1983.
The second is from Acorn User February 1984 which shows the contents of all 6 beebtapes.
We are missing:
Beebtape 1 : RUNNERS and CRAWLER
Beebtape 3 : CONCENTRATION
Beebtape 6 : GUESS

I have added these to the missing games list.

This advert for EUROPEAN SUPERLEAGUE from CDS from Computer & Video Games December 1989 suggests it was not released for the BBC Micro.
CVG097_Dec_1989_0154.jpg
This advert is the earliest I could find. It continued to be advertised into the 90s. It seems implausible it would get a beeb release.
Should it be removed from the list?

TRIPODS by REDSHIFT

It seems it WAS released for the Spectrum, and the couple of reviews I found, mention "BBC Tripods". However, they are referring to the BBC television series "The Tripods" which the computer game was based on, and not the BBC Micro.
Should this be removed from the list too?
