Quest Mouse / Paint manual

Post by Yrrah2 » Sat Aug 17, 2019 6:59 am

Hello all,

In the past a view Quest Mouse packages has been sold including manual ROM etc.
At the moment I’m looking for scans of the manual. So I can OCR it and create a nice PDF for everyone.

Anyone with a manual? I don’t want to have it, just borrow it to scan it or send some high res scans to me.

Cheers

Koen

I've uploaded a scan here: http://ffe3.com/beeb/QuestPaintManual.zip

This manual came with a Beeb I got from eBay, that had a WE mouse and a Quest Paint 1.10 ROM.

Many Thanks!! :D :D
After I have finished the Pagemaker manual I'll start with this one!
Cheers

EDIT :
If you have the Beeb running, can you test if QuestPaint automatically loads some patterns? When I launch it (also v1.10) just have blank patterns.
Cheers

I don't get any loaded automatically either - I get one row of solid red and one of solid white. Looks like you have to go to the I/O menu and load patterns by hand.

Yep, page 13 of manual states first use of IO menu should be to load the default brushes and patterns from the supplied utilities disc.
