Oh dear, thought it might be like vindaloo, but it's a cheap imitation and not a very good one at that. The collision detection is horrible and the movement is punishing, the sound is ok but not enough to redeem the gameplay.

Starting screen appears to be random which is good as I couldn't get past the first level it dished up to me.

After the first few failed levels I managed to complete a couple so here's my score for those.

Sorry for the horrible choice but at least now we know! [-o< ](*,)

Score: 951

Yeh, this one is going to be tough to play for 2 weeks but it is what it is in the words of Todd Bertuzzi (used to be a Vancouver Canuck).

...... 1,284 ...... didn't think I'd get above 1000 on this one.

From the screenshot and the name, I thought it was a Boffin rip-off. I'll give this one a go!

Something strange happened. I dreamed of collecting jam in an umbrella but I got trapped in a trampoline and there was no way to reach the exit. When I came back to my senses I was on the board with 549.

What a shocking game  I finished the 2nd level and instantly died on the 3rd for no reason. Hmm...

Anyway, here's a starter score from me,

The same thing happened again. You start the level in the top left hand corner and die instantly. Sometimes collecting the objects kills you too as you can't jump through them as you collect them resulting in you collecting them, hitting them like a solid object, and then landing on an electrified tile.

I got lucky with the random levels this time. I don't think I'll be playing this again in a hurry though. As was previously stated, I think some of these levels are nearly impossible due to crap collision detection and poor game design (unless there's something I'm missing?).

This game is sooooooo frustrating it makes proper Boffin seem like a walk in the park! Did a bit better tonight, but it all seems to hang on which order the levels are presented... at least until I can figure out how to beat them all.

I doubt I'm getting anything higher than this. My fingers are worn. I have been through every screen and was on my 2nd time around when I died due to one of the anomalies of this game. It is very difficult to die when you've done a correct jump. I just got really lucky one round and things went quite smoothly.

First of all, well done. This genuinely surprises me as some of the screens look impossible to complete due to the pots being placed above permanently electrified tiles that you can't (or at least I couldn't) avoid landing on after collecting them (due to extremely dodgy collision detection). I'm going to have to play a bit tonight to see what I'm missing. As it is, I think there are 2 levels I'm unable to complete at the moment (the one where you die instantly as soon as the level starts (only 1 life though) and the one where there's a giant alternating electrified tile to the right of the level).

I'm guessing that the anomaly you speak of is on the level with the green, flowery face where you instantly die for no reason?

Well, no. The level I have trouble with is the one with a lot of jumps in it. Sometimes I know I make the perfect jump but my man goes backwards for no reason, right onto an electrified tile so I lose a man. This is on the 2nd row of jumps. Usually when I hit that level, I've only got a couple of lives left but this time I had 3.....AND....I managed to get through without losing a life. If I had lost even one life on that level, I could not have achieved that score.

I was also lucky in that I ended up starting on the level that you usually lose a life on. If you start on that level, the automatic lost life doesn't happen. The program is holding a flag that should have been cleared but my programming skills are too poor to know where that is.

All other levels, I've figured out how to get through, including the long electrified tile. It took a bit to figure that one out but there is a running theme in this game. I'm sure it won't be long before you figure it out. We have to keep you playing somehow.

I'll have to have a go later and try to figure it out myself then. I don't think I've ever started on that level so I didn't know about that quirk.

Thanks for the heads-up :)

Just completed both of the levels that I couldn't do previously a few minutes ago. Still frustrating but at least knowing they're not impossible is a bonus

Wow great effort for pushing through those tough levels, with that as inspiration I had another attempt and made it though a couple of previously very difficult ones. I'm finding the electrified tiles the most challenging, there's no logic with how far back you get kicked when picking up a jar ](*,) at least if you need to jump all the way through I just hold down jump key and it mostly works [-o<

With a few tweaks this could be a great little game :-k
