BBC Micro Monitor Stand (photo inside)

I'm looking for one of these, as seen in the attached photo.

Does anybody know who made them, and where I might be able to get one?

Thanks.

Watford Electronics made one like that back in the day. You might find one on fleabay if you are lucky, or if somebody has one here they are not using.

Anyone have access to a press brake or other sheet metal bending facilities?

See page 10 of the attached .pdf file.

Thanks TC. Interesting to know that it was Watford who made it. Although I guess other companies made them too, as there's also one with the grilles in that photo.

I'll keep an eye out.

Cheers,

Fin.

I don't know about that specific model, but my experience back in the day was that the ones which consisted simply of of a bent bit of metal tended to gradually splay out. I never actually saw one collapse and land a monitor on the beeb below, but they never filled me with confidence.

Those combined floppy drive monitor stands were way more robust.

I've got one here (for a Master) made by Electro Guard, but I don't have a decent picture of it. Probably they made them for the Model B as well.
