OK, I've ordered and paid for 2.

Annoying web site is annoying; requires you to create an account (WTF?) and also doesn't seem to allow for America as a shipping address, so I've had to select my parents address in England and specified 1 business day.

I hope this arrives while I'm in England; give me something to bring home with me ;-)

You don't need to create an account if you're happy to checkout with PayPal.

There are advantages of using sites; they can provide order, payment, package tracking, etc. Since we're talking a fair number of items in a short period of time then this can help make sure nothing falls through the cracks. And if there are any spare left over then they can be left up on the site for others to buy afterwards.

Also xeropage.co.uk is Jason's own site (do a "whois") so this may just fall into his existing workflows and makes his life easier.

Only if you want to fit it to a Master, it fits snuggly in the recess of a 'B'.

If anyone would prefer me to omit the connector that mates directly
with the 'B' (so you can fit the other gender to use a "IDE" like cable
or an IDC transistion header) then just send me a note against your order.
You might want to do this if fitting inside a cheesewedge or with double
sided tape inside a Master or adding to an Atom.

Yes! We've had a few meets recently and we have two of them transmitting
scouts and getting and acknowledgement back from real Beebs! So we're
really close now.
I'm hoping if I clear the decks of CoPros before the xmas hols, I will get
time to complete the software to a point worth releasing.

Jason, please take the time you need. I do understand that this is also hobby for you, just like it is for me. And I have plenty of other things to do during my Christmas holidays such as fixing my 1956 TV set and inspecting two Atoms, celebrating Christmas with mother in law and such things

The "standard" connector will fit both B and Master, there's just not
enough space to home the whole thing under the Master keyboard
without seriously butchering the plastic.
Most people are using extension ribbon cable to avoid doing so.

Some people prefer a ribbon cable with the same connector on both
ends or maybe the use of a IDC transition rather than a male to
female extension. For those people, I'm offering to leave the connector
unpopulated.

Looks like the Pi's new connector has resulted in useful cables being produced!

I know I'm way too late into this, but if you have any spares in this batch then I'd be interested. Thanks.

I've got more than enough to cover the entire list, and a few to spare, so go ahead and just order.
Running little late on production, sheets coming off the machine tonight but, subject to getting
them programmed up I still hope to have in the pre-xmas post

Also, I've a colleague at work who might be interested in one -- shall I point him at this thread?
