Possible run of SCSI boards for Master AIV wannabe

Post by flynnjs » Fri May 27, 2011 7:08 pm

Just in case you've not been following developments in the "Other" forum, I've completed a design for a modern replacement for the long thin internal SCSI board that can be fitted to a Master. Obviously to be fully AIV compliant you'd need a 2nd processor too (not included).

Initial indications look like the cost to be around £20 inc VAT but excluding assembly and postage. Price and method of assembly will vary based on number or people interested.

Register your interest here and, depending on interest, we'll take it from there.

Yeah interested, quite happy to take a board and self assemble, depending on what's on it :)

Cheers.

OK, numbers are getting to a point where is seems worthwhile. I'll x-post to the mailing list and see if there any lurkers there and then we'll get stuck in.

I can make up a batch of VFS ROMs to be supplied with the boards if that's any help.

I'm interested too - price seems right which is good.

I'm keen on projects that give genuine value-add to old computers, cue a quick plug for PRM-85 board for the HP-85:

Any up to date news on these...

I could really do with an alternate SCSI board to test.
