If someone is interested, I re-listed the 4-way backplane (131727915480) plus two software bundles on CD (131727917730 and 131727948451).

I won that one :) ... Looks like the battery damage is around the parallel port and keyboard connector. I'm not too concerned about the parallel and hopefully the keyboard connector should clean up with a bit of TLC. Now I just need to track down the peripherals! :D

I've just bought this :

with the VHS tapes about the Archie, for preservation purposes and upload to Youtube.

Is this interface any good ?

Here's someone who doesn't know what they've got ... "the keyboard has a power lead" ... a nice setup though (assuming it actually works)

I definitely have room, in fact I have two machines sitting without screens at the moment. Monitors are possibly the hardest thing to sort these days. There never seem to be any for collection nearby and I no longer trust couriers with them.

Huh, never seen one of these before. Still, pretty good condition aesthetically and it's being sold by CCH ... http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Remote-Keyboard ... nav=SEARCH

Anyone got a picture of one in use?

Nice one! Did the seller give you any information on the state of the battery (area)?

No, fingers crossed on that front too [-o<

He's got quite a bit of stuff so I think he would have mentioned it hopefully.

He's got a non-working A5000, loads of books and some Risc PC stuff.

He's also not keen on EBay, if anybody wants his e-mail address please PM me.

Working Acorn Electron with Plus 1 and Plus 3 ......... They say it's working but no pictures to prove it, so my estimate is the absolute minimum it'll go for is £100 and much more likely to make £200 plus.

I wish I could justify buying it.

If you want one for under £100 you could go for
