You're welcome to trade Acorn-related stuff with other forum members here - the rule of thumb to follow when trading, is that items or services offered should be of interest to our Acorn community. Do NOT use multiple accounts - please trade with your regular (and only) forum account. If you aren't comfortable with this - make the trade via an alternative site which can apply safeguards of their own. Be sensible - if someone approaches you to trade via PM who is not posting in the public forums, this may be a sign that they are not entirely what they seem. Don't worry; CMcDougall has a "rage on" against Steve Picton. You'll see it across the forum every now and then.

You changed the words I used when you quoted me, to express the opposite idea I had expressed, so :

I'm very serious. There are behaviours I simply don't accept.
I ask the admin to ban this forumer.
If necessary I'll leave this forum, definitively.

Hey Zarchos, I'm quite sure Colin was just joking - it's fairly clear that he deliberately manipulated what you said to be silly. It's not mis-representation as what you originally said is there in plain sight. It's fine that you both have differing opinions of the same individual, there really isn't any need to take offence. If I took offence from Colin every time he slagged off my opinions on ADFS I'd be a nervous wreck :D

I don't have to try to figure out if sbdy is simply joking or not, and even if the case, which I think it is, the issue is the following :
- nobody writes BS falsifying my words, thus pretending these new statements/ideas are mine .
Is that clear ?
As I said either he's banned or I definitively leave this forum if these basic rules, fundamental principles, are not obeyed.
Period.

OK, this has spilled way out of hand and gotten very off topic ...

I will take this off the thread and have a word with the participants. Please let's return this topic back to it's intended subject ... I'd rather not lock it, if I don't have to.

Cheers.

Looking at the connections, it seems to need something else to connect it to the beeb?

There was a Microvitec Touch out on display at the Bolton ABug venue between May - December (together with the software pack) but it didn't get fired up at any of the meetings, sadly! :(

A pretty nice haul if the price stays low :)

Indeed I do, the connections are indeed power and serial for the thing. You need a Cub monitor for it really. They work a treat :D

The one on ebay is Jason Fitzpatrick's so it may or may not be the one from the Beeb@30 celebration in 2012 which is also pictured on my page about half way down.
