The add-on board is one of these:
http://www.atomclub.nl/sites/Fpga/www.h ... _Parts.htm

It's a PAL Colour Encoder, schematic here:
http://stardot.org.uk/mirrors/www.bbcdo ... er_cct.png

It adds the 4.43MHz PAL color burst signal to the 60Hz Atom UHF Video output.

A bit non-standard I think...

BBC B+ 128, disc drive, Cub monitor, printer, books, etc.

Nice set-up: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BBC-Microcomp ... 1623076531

4 days to go, will probably get a bit silly towards the end ...

A BBC B needing some TLC - collection only North Shields (that's up North somewhere, isn't it?). Includes a monitor, drive, joysticks:

They promise delivery in April 2015 - we've heard that one before!

Thanks for the info but I got a reply when trying to place an order that one of the beneficiaries couldn't receive the payment.
Weird.
And disappointing.

Looks interesting ... but a full keyboard would have been nice ... in case anyone gets bored of playing games and wants to have a play with retro-programming ...

No substitute for a real Speccy + DivIDE but might be more convenient.

Is Uncle Clive getting a cut? Hope so!

To be brutally honest I'm not sure why people are getting excited.

As someone said it's ARM powered so at best it's an emulator running on custom hardware, that just happens to have the same styling as the spectrum.

Now things like the Harlequin http://www.zxdesign.info/harlequin.shtml at least keep the Z80 and reproduce the ULA with discrete logic.

Cheers.

Phill.

I expect Sir Clive to create the Sinclair C6 with the money he gets from the sale of the Vegas.
A flying electrical car with automated control by a ZX80 powered super computer
(Remember Trashman ? 'Give me a ZX81 and I'll control the world')

PS : I own a C5, brought back from the U.K.
The exact right size to fit in my BMW X5.
Never used it as it's a frightening piece of crappy design.

My 'lovely' C5 :

I've got many spare parts too, including 3 motors.

Fantastic news ! Soon an electrical bike =D>
I note he understood, as the bosses of Apple or Google, that tech is good to sell to others to make cash, but not to waste one's own precious time on it ...
(their children don't have a cellphone, don't own a tablet PC, don't have a Facebook account or use Tweeter, and guess what ? They read books.
Sthing tells me they don't go to 'normal' schools either).

A truely rare item for retro games consoles collectors :

http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Console-de-demon ... 0996276306

A pity I don't have the money to afford to bid at the moment, it's well worth GBP 1000.

There's a modded one available from the USA, but that's a tad expensive

Sorry Zarchos, that's Multiwizards ad for the magazines that are lacking in his collection. It's a "wanted" advertisement.

I've bought again from this seller - he's very amenable.

Does that mean you are thinking of buying it Dave, and getting Burgess to pick it up?
Would you sell on the Plus 3?
If so I will be home over Christmas (Crook, County Durham).

Yes, sorry to those members not familiar with UK towns. I have relatives in Burgess Hill that I could co-opt into collecting items in that neck-of-the-woods. And, even better, I'm down there next weekend, it seems :D
