I did better than that, I traced the circuit into Eagle and replicated the layout.
Though I have not made any boards from that layout I could make one to check it.

Email me if you want the files.

Cheers.

Once I have received and checked them, I will be happy to sell some to anyone who wants any.
Okay, have received them and checked a few - so if anyone wants any they are 90 pence including first class postage for one. If you want 2nd class, deduct 10 pence - so then 80 pence.
If you want more than one, extra are available for 19 pence for each additional unit.
A maximum limit will apply if lots of people want lots of them

I'll take a half-doz off you Mark (or however many helps offset your outlay 8)). I'll email you later tonight.

Could I have a couple of resistor networks, please?

I'll send a PM later, just about to set off home from work!

Oh so impatient... Bodged network, jumpers off the back of old HDs... Cheers to all who supplied some bits (sram from Beebmaster, 1772 from Mark). Quadron for everything else I didn't have and stupid cheap 27128s...

Hooray! Now, I just have to put a connector back on my 19v elk psu :)

Excellent job Daniel =D>

Impatience? Bodging? Making do?

A truly retro approach I say :D

Just re-reading the installation document for the Peg400 and it states:
Note that this RAM may be taken advantage of by T2PEG400 as workspace.
So yes, T2PEG400 will use the RAM too :D

Looks really good =D>

But...

The three resistors down the bottom left don't look like 2K2 which would be Red/Red/Red, yours look Red/Red/Black which is 22R?

Martin, they're Red/Red/Black/Brown-space-Brown, which is 2k2 at 1%.

I was just about to say that :)

I tend to stock up on 1% 5-band resistors as a matter of course these days...

Thanks for the compliment too :)

My eyes struggle to read three bands, never mind five

One thing I meant to highlight to all you Peg builders, and is a repeat of a note I made earlier on in the thread, is that on all the ones I've built, I added a small 'foot' to the board to prevent accidental rocking of the Peg in the Plus 1. An original Peg would have been held stable by the case but for a PCB only, the Peg can be tilted to the left and this would disconnect a good half of the edge connector.
If you only otherwise use cartridges and nothing else full-width, you can use double-sided tape and pad the recess in the Plus 1 using a slice of rubber eraser or similar. Or, you can do as I did and manufacture a foot out of anything suitable. Here's what I used for the first few boards - can't remember what they were meant for originally but they just 'plugged' into the corner mounting hole of the Peg and I then trimmed the foot bit-by-bit to the required length...

Someting like a small plastic wall-plug super-glued to the board and trimmed works fine too :D

(If you have a Rombox or Rombox+, the foot or padding needs to sit on top of the expansion Rom which is exposed at the bottom of the recess.)

MartinB, I like your arrangement with the plastic covers. I've got some thin perspex knocking around so I'm going to do the same.

Hi! Are bare boards still available? I'd love to build one of these...

Though if someone could give me a pointer as to how to obtain DFS/ADFS ROMs it would be very handy

Not from me anymore I'm afraid, I sold the last few PCB's I was holding after countless full builds caused me to lose the will to live

I'm pretty certain I'll still have some Pegasus PCBs remaining ... trouble is the box of Slogger boards are (somewhere) in storage, and it might be a while before I get round to locating them.

Prime, thecellartroll and jms2 will be offered first refusal on boards when they turn up ...

Am i right in thinking I can butcher an atari stfm for its wd1772 chip to populate this peg? Ive read elsewhere it can be done but i dont want to waste time/money finding out the hard way, also how hard is it to source all the other parts?

Ahh well i bought a full one and a spare pcb and was just thinking about trying to populate it but i guess buying all the parts at once would be a/cheating and b/pointless as i might of well just bought 2 at once lol im a dab hand at soldering just useless at buying components

Sorry, I meant that some people here sell the WD1772! So you should be able to get one if you want it.

Still, if you want to flog that unpopulated board

Easy to get the bits - Retroclinic has the 1772, Beebmaster the SRAM. All the other parts you can pick up from Quarndon electronics or other such providers of bits'n'bobs. I seem to recall the resistor network was a bit hard to get hold of but someone had found them? I bodged one out of a bunch of resistors and some heat shrink (like MartinB did)

I just bought some of these to finally replace my home made resistor network on the Peg400 board :D

I don't need that many (probably 5 or 10) so if anyone wants some let me know :D

Ahem

Using high-quality materials I skillfully crafted an equivalent resistive network pack to accurately reflect the originally specified component and my deployment of authentic construction techniques allowed the retro appearance of the Pegasus board to be tastefully preserved whilst maintaining the designed performance criteria.

"Bodged" indeed
