I'll be sending out the boards over the next couple of weeks in batches, kits first as I have to finish building the others.
I'll PM you when your boards are ready to go.

Sigh ... late to the party as I was on vacation. If you are still open to orders, can I have 1 x RGBtoHDMI board for my BBC please? Fully built by preference, but will take a kit as long as the SMD is already done (my soldering has limitations!)
Thanks
Richard

I'm interested in buying at least one RGBtoHDMI board for my newly repaired set of vintage computers: In particular to get colour on my Acorn Atom. So an Analogue board too.

I have a EACA Video Genie (TRS80 Model I clone) which I think might be an interesting test for the board too.

1xAnalogue Board (built)
1xRGBtoHDMI board (built)

Thanks.

Hi Ian,
Minor change of plan; rather than just going for 1 x RGBtoHDMI board (built), can I go for:

1 x RGBtoHDMI (built if possible)
1 x Analog board (built if possible)

Makes sense to future proof myself :-)
Thanks
Richard

I think all those that have paid so far should have received their boards so let me know if you didn't.

Add me please. I'm in the US and just got a UK BBC B but want to run it with my HDMI monitor. Let me know how much you want and the cost of shipping for a fully assembled kit please.

Thanks,
Nigel

I'd also like a built RGBtoHDMI, should there be one available!
Am I correct in thinking I'd also *just* need the RPi Zero WH (with memory card) and case then it'd be ready to run?

You just need a regular Pi Zero I think, not W, not WH.

You don't need the W, but you do need the header, I don't think I had one supplied with my first one (the RGBtoHDMI). If you buy a non-H version, you need to get one and solder it on yourself.

If you want the reset button to work, you'll need to solder on a small two-pin header onto your Pi Zero, next the main header. The two-pin header is supplied with the RGBtoHDMI kit.

Just getting around to soldering up my boards now. I've had a quick read through the assembly instructions, but didn't see anything about the direction of the 2 x resistor networks. I assume you're using normal convention, and the common leg on the resistor network (the end with the dot) goes into thru hole with the square solder pad? Sorry if this is written somewhere, but I missed it.

Marked pin on board (square around it) = pin 1 = pin with dot on network.

FYI I've ordered another batch of boards which should be available in a couple of weeks or so.

Also I've noticed that there are two different versions of the case and one is not really suitable for use with RGBtoHDMI.

This is the correct one:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1Pcs-Black-P ... 3762548529
It has M2.5 machine screws and large plastic support pillars that can take the metal spacers.

This is the unsuitable one:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-Prot ... 3549857517
This has self tapping screws and very thin support pillars.
You can make this case work but you have to drill out the plastic pillars to take the metal spacers and buy M2.5 machine screws to fit in the top of the spacers.

When looking at other listings, please check that any photos showing the screws and pillars match the first one above

Hi Ian,

As discussed on the other thread about my monitor (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20871), I'm very keen to get one of your next batch of RGBtoHDMI boards, please.

I just need one, and I don't think I need the analogue option. Thanks very much.

It should be around £30 for the built ones and a few pounds less for the kit ones as most of the parts are already fitted on this new 12 bit batch but I haven't finalised things yet.

Just post in this thread as you have already done, you will be contacted by PM when some new boards are available probably in the next week or so.
