Hi Ian
In the other thread (link) you show that you have now managed to get a version working with an Atari ST.
Are the boards you are selling in this topic suitable? If yes, I’ll have another. Heck, these are darned useful anyway, so please add another GRBtoHDMI kit to my order anyway. And if different boards are needed, please put me down for at least two of the new ones.
Also which of the Atari ST range will it work with, I have the following:

Also which of the Atari ST range will it work with, I have the following:
- Atari ST (original range with external PSU and no internal disk drive),
- Atari STFM - built in PSU and built in disk drive, the U.K. models have a built in RF modulator,
- Atari STe (as the STFM, but has different video circuitry)
- Atari Mega (two box professional computer based on the STFM)
- Atari TT (two box professional computer, faster more capable version over all the above)

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Not really, you can make it work with track cuts and links but there will have to be a new 12 bit board to do it properly.
OK
I only have a 520STFM and I'm not familiar with the other models. It picks up the RGB signals internally from the shifter chip (R1,R2,R0,G2,G1,G0,B2,B1,B0) plus the mono signal and H & V sync so if those signals are available on other variants it should work for at least the same resolutions as the 520STFM at any bit depth up to 9bits per pixel. What other resolutions (if any) do the later ST versions output?
Mono only 640x400 should work as an external solution because the mono output and sync signals are already available on the ST's video connector at TTL levels but I haven't tried that. It might also be possible to make a fully external solution for both Atari and Amiga with a different analog board design but I haven't looked at that yet.
Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
I'd like 1x RGB + 1x Analog. Both built if there are any still available. Thanks.

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Hi Ian
On that basis, it should work with the following models, as they all have the same shifter chip:
The same will apply to the Mega STe models.
The TT (more info) is much less common and I’ve never poked around inside mine. So I’ll have to check.
Due to the 4096 colour palette and the different video circuitry for the STe, Mega STe and TT, I suspect that RGBtoHDMI may not be suitable for use with these.

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
So the shifter in the STe and Mega STe has four output lines/bits per RGB colour (12 bits total) and therefore if RGBtoHDMI can cope with 12 bits of data it should be possible. Although it looks like picking up the internal signals will be easier on the resistors used as a DAC ladder rather than in the IC pins.
