Electron SD Card Interfaces (SOLD OUT)

Post by Ramtop » Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:31 am

Hi All,

Started a new thread for this as the old one isn't really relevant any more.

After a fair bit of faffing around with a 3D printer, my Electron SD card board is finished and the first batch is available. It works much the same way as the previous MicroSD boards, MMFS in flash plus a card slot, but it takes full size SD cards (up to 8GB) and comes in a nice 3D printed case.

I had hoped to offer various colour choices, but for this batch you can pick grey or... grey. :D

Forum price is £27, via PayPal. Postage is £2.50 for the UK, £4.50 for Europe, and £6.50 RoW.

No, See here - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16481&start=30#p228888
You can plug a cheap SD card reader into the printer port on the PLus 1.

Hi,

I'll take one. To be sent to Germany.

(Do you have a working Electron board you could add? - If so: PN to talk about the price. 8) )

ZX80/ZX81: 1k ought to be enough... (... at least for a computer with shared memory graphics)!

Drop me a PM. Because you have less than 25 posts you'll need to use the 'contact us' button at the bottom of the page to ask the moderators to enable PMs on your account.

I wish I had a spare Electron board to sell you! I have a grand total one of working Elk, which is the one use to test the SD boards on.

Hi,

no problem that you don't have a board. A friend of mine - also a retro computer nerd - is onsite at Oxfort in a week or two. I am confident that I will get the spare parts organized by myself...

As I've got aprox. 20 posts at the moment, I think I can send you the PN including the contact data for the shipping very soon without pressing the contact-us-button.

Have a nice weekend.
