Hi i am having some problems getting my retroPi zero to work with the BBC model B
I have just received the PitubeDirect board from Kjell and with that board in the tube connector under the BBC model B the Computers boots up when switching on but when i connect the raspberry Pi zero board to the PiTubeDirect the BBC won't boot up at all ?
I don't even get a biiirrrbeep and i get a black and white display on the screen ? The raspberry Pi zero is new which i have recently bought with the header pins already soldered on. I have left the jumper on the two pins as it came to me which i presume is to draw power from the BBC to power the raspberry Pi Zero.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?
I originally bought the Pi zero to use on my BBC Master but found the PiTubeDirect board does not fit under the tube connector on the BBC Master as there is not enough room to slide the board on to the tube pins ? If i'd known this i would have gone for the external fitting in the first place.
I've messaged the guy on ebay who i have bought the Pi zero from and asked if i can send it back to him for him to test to see if its working ok and if not can i have a replacement. I have no way how to test the Pi zero? I don't have a mini hdmi adapter to hook it up to my monitor. I unzipped the anaconda files to the sd card and was hoping for a plug and play but the BBC won't boot up at all with the Pi Zero connected to the PiTubeDirect SC board ?? The two boards fit only one way so there is no way i have connected them up wrong? Any help or advice is much appreciated
