Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Thanks my RGBtoHDMI eventually arrived today (due to slow post) assembled the final bits and tested it on my Electron it all worked 1st time.
Thanks to all those involved in this neat project, very well put together and well documented.

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Just a reminder that the NuLA is not compatible with the standard RGBtoHDMI converter as I can see the same users are posting in both threads. You will get an output when the NuLA is sending the normal 8 BBC colours but not when it is using custom colours. It will not work properly with the analog board either as that can only detect 27 colours or 64 with the extra U7 chip fitted and the NuLA can ouput 4096 colours.
It should work with the 12 bit extender board by soldering the 16 way cable directly to the NuLA board but I'm waiting on RobC to confirm that as I don't have a NuLA myself.

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Hi Ian,
Thanks for the info. Rob had kindly advised me of this compatibility issue so I am aware of it.
As I have more than one BBC computer, I plan to have one just for VideoNuLA and the others will use the RGBtoHDMI.
Thanks
Kin

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Thanks for the clarification Ian. I intend to use mine with a CGA pc (Amstrad PPC) so a NuLA isn't for me.
Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Hi Ian,
DanielJ sent me the link to your RGB-HDMI board via the RM User Group. However, I would not appear to be able to send messages directly to you.
I am interested in using your RGBtoHDMI with RM kit that also uses 288p 50Hz PAL. Daniel reports success with the TTL version on RM kit and on his BBC.
How do I get in touch to order one, I am happy putting it together.
Peter

Hi, Ian.
Thank you for your PM. I can't reply directly to it, so I'll say here that I'll hold off on the board while the NuLa issue is investigated.
Kind regards,
Jeff

Most people put a list of hardware here, but 255 characters is just not enough space for all my machines....

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Hi Ian,
I would like to order one RGBtoHDMI board, including the optional analog board, if/when available.
To be used for a BBC B+ and an Apple IIe
A kit will do, that will be a good exercise to keep my soldering skills in shape.
Best Regards, JayBeeOne

Re: For sale: RGBtoHDMI boards
Hi
thanks for that,
is there a list or a queue of sorts and how do i sort payment.
also if i could pick your brain, can I leave the original video port alone if I internally wire this in and install a HDMI plug at the rear of the case ??
so in theory i could use the video plug or hdmi without disabling colour on the video port ??
Also can I add Sound to the HDMI somehow ?
