MIDI to Music 4000 converters

Post by danielj » Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:30 pm

As described in the topic here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17146

These allow you to connect any MIDI controller to your beeb/music 5000 setup and, to all intents and purposes, it looks to the beeb like a Music 4000 keyboard. By default it responds to all MIDI channels, but you can press the green button and it will then only respond to the next channel that it sees played. Red button for resetting catastrophic disasters. All the programming headers are available inside the unit, with header pins soldered in place, plus there are an extra 6 GPIOs broken out from the microcontroller if anyone wishes to pimp it with anything else...

I have a few of these completed, cased and with cables, for sale for £50+postage (small parcel). Postage is about £4.50 first class, or £3.90 second (that's signed/insured up to the value of the thing).

Please state interest in this thread!

Thanks Daniel!

I've sent you and email, but can't reply to your PM - Serves me right for not coming on here and posting often enough... Thanks also for designing this. It is one of those things I was looking at doing, but never got around to.
