You're welcome to trade Acorn-related stuff with other forum members here - the rule of thumb to follow when trading, is that items or services offered should be of interest to our Acorn community. Do NOT use multiple accounts - please trade with your regular (and only) forum account. If you're giving items away, please make it clear if you would be unhappy with the recipient selling on some or all of the items. Similarly, please ensure that the giver is comfortable with you re-selling items you have accepted as a gift. If you aren't comfortable with this - make the trade via an alternative site which can apply safeguards of their own. Be sensible - if someone approaches you to trade via PM who is not posting in the public forums, this may be a sign that they are not entirely what they seem. Declutter Sale - RiscPC

Post by TeeBuoy » Mon Feb 11, 2019 6:52 pm

This is the last lot of Acorn gear I'm disposing of... hopefully there's someone here who will be able to give it a good home!

It's my old RiscPC. 2 slices (2 podule backplane). ARM 610 processor, Not sure of RAM and Vram sizes, though I usually maxed out my Acorn machines. There's an Aleph1 486 PC card, and a Castle Technology SCSI card. Internal SCSI CD. I want to retain the internal HDD. Also have an external SCSI HDD enclosure (again, I'm retaining the HDD). SCSI lead for external SCSI HDD and also SCSI terminator plug. Unfortunately the machine won't boot - I think due to PCB damage due to battery leakage.
If you're familiar with the construction of RiscPC you'll be aware of the little interlocking plastic tabs on the plastic enclosure. Some of these have broken off. Also the plastic mounting pillar for the metal HDD retaining bracket has broken off.

Also includes mouse, original keyboard, plus a Castle Technology Keyboard (which has a lovely "feel", and manuals.

£75 plus delivery charges.
