Do NOT use multiple accounts - please trade with your regular (and only) forum account. If you're giving items away, please make it clear if you would be unhappy with the recipient selling on some or all of the items. Similarly, please ensure that the giver is comfortable with you re-selling items you have accepted as a gift. Broken Cub Monitor for the taking

Post by Mekon » Sat Dec 01, 2018 8:37 pm

I've had a Microvitec Cub knocking around at home for many years, since an accident with a badly wired signal cable made it go pop and lose all vertical scanning. I planned to fix it, but I've never felt brave enough to delve inside!

It's in reasonable cosmetic condition, although there's a dent in both the top and the bottom. The room where I've stored it has been on the damp side, and when I tried it fairly recently it just made an alarming whistle before I swiftly pulled the plug.

I'd hate to just throw it out, so if anyone wants it, let me know. I live in Preston, Lancashire. You can come and pick it up or get a courier to take it for you.

Thanks

Hi,

Is this still available?
I can use it for spares if nothing else.
I'm in Manchester so could collect at some point.

Cheers

Stephen
