This looks like a great resource - you can step through the MOS IRQ handler line-by-line with comments here: https://tobylobster.github.io/mos/mos/S-s11.html

I'm looking forward to writing part 2 - I intend to make the preamble shorter then dive right into a set of code examples for the kind of effects we've been talking about, e.g. split-MODE screens, palette changes, music playback etc.
