BASIC keywords query: hex 8D,8E,CE,FF

Post by 8bitBASIC » Mon Mar 30, 2020 3:04 pm

Hi folks,

New poster here. I'm trying to learn BBC BASIC with the help of a couple of books and the BBC Micro User Guide. One of the first things I noticed is that in chapter 47 of the guide, the list of BASIC keywords and their accompanying hex numbers don't include keywords for hex numbers 8D, 8E, CE and FF. Is this correct or have the keywords & hex accidentally been left out? If this is the case, what are the keywords for these four hex numbers?

Many thanks,
J.

8E is OPENIN in BASIC 2.

Couldn't see the other codes in the list.

Take a look here:
http://mdfs.net/Docs/Comp/BBCBasic/Tokens

8E = Line Number
8F = OPENIN
CE = PUT (Z80/80x86 Only)
FF = OSCLI
