UEF2WAV in .Net Core 2

Post by makaron » Fri Mar 23, 2018 3:11 pm

Hi

I started writing a conversion software from UEF to WAV.
I managed to implement and test following chunks 0100, 0110 and 0112. I have few other implemented, but I can't find uef which use them.
And I do have a problem loading DeadOrAlive, and I don't really know why. It is probably because it is dual game Elecron/BBC, but I don't know for 100%.
Could someone point me to quirks of loading system and how to fix those issues ?

Have you looked at PlayUEF it works very well at doing that?
You can find it here https://github.com/8bitkick/PlayUEF

Yes, I have. But I need to understand why to do something. My goal is not only to reproduce, but understand.

OK. Bug found in implementation of 0112 chunk. Now I can load everything what I was testing on. Dead or Alive loaded for the first time. :)
Most of Electron games loads (I am still looking for. So I got what I was aiming for. I think it is time for next step.
I am waiting for LM386 to continue my project. :)
