Micronet 800

Post by leenew » Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:34 pm

Does anyone have any memories of Micronet 800?
On bbcmicro.co.uk we have 4 games published on Micronet 800:
Wiggles, Exterminator and Maniac (All by Gary Partis), and an adventure game called Cloudburst.

http://bbcmicro.co.uk/index.php?rt_R=&r ... 800&sort=u

What "release type" should these games be?
e.g. would they be "commercial release"? "public domain"? or something else?
Cloudburst mentions it was a "freebie", but what about the others?
Can anyone shed any light?

Thank you,

Lee.

I was on MIcronet in the late 80s, but as a Spectrum user.

The software on there was all in the public domain.

Hi Lee

I think I have a bunch of Micronet 800 literature in a folder somewhere.
If its of interest I can scan it in.

I'll post a general photo of it over the weekend.

Thanks, Marcus. As junior maintainer of bbcmicro.co.uk, I think I can say that that literature would be very interesting to see!

Ok theres an A4 fold out flyer and the Instruction manual.
The other stuff relates to the specific user account of the original owner of this stuff.
So, I'll not be posting that.
