Birdie Barrage not the fullest version?

Post by scarybeasts » Fri Jun 19, 2020 8:56 am

Hi,

I just uploaded a new Birdie Barrage HFE in the archive submissions board: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=19712

It looks more complete than the (three) versions on bbcmicro.co.uk -- possible a tape version vs. disc version issue?

Cheers
Chris

Thank you for doing this.

I'm on a Mac and can't run your new emulator, so I don't think I can currently access the content in HFE files easily.

Is there any chance you could upload a copy of the disc-image as a .SSD?

I checked my shelf and found this, on a CDS disk labelled Birdie Barrage, but without the title page and just simply called "GOLF"
Courses look the same though...
Have uploaded the SSD of Birdie Barrage too :)

I created the BIRDIE BARRAGE SSD by copying all the files from the HFE onto a freshly formatted SSD... the files have the same CRC32
