Merry Christmas Everyone, just this week finished restoring a 1929 Kolster Brandes, Brandset IIIa Radio of my late Fathers for all the family to listen to later. Something else truly retro for us all to gather round and appreciate.

Best wishes all for 2020 :D :-

Merry Xmas everyone, and a special thanks to all who've helped me with the writing of my assembly language adventure.
I'm about to embark on Xmas dinner preparations, later on I'm hoping to play some of the Acornsoft classics especially Super Invaders which for some reason I've been thinking about over the last few days (is it the best invaders game for the beeb? - I think so! Although happy to be corrected...)

Happy Christmas everyone!

Our eldest has been up since 4.30 so feeling a bit tired already. I did get one of Dave's brilliant Beeb posters and a Pi robot though :D

Beautiful radio =D> We're listening to our Philips 208U from 1946. I use a small AM transmitter to have at least one radio station with (Christmas) music  It still picks up some influences from the atmosphere or distortions from the electrical circuits in the home and so it gives a much better and warmer experience of audio than any hi-tech DAB+ receiver

(BTW I am also working on a 204U from 1945, just have made some new "old" capacitors to keep the authentic look.)

Merry Christmas to all of you!

My wife and I usually do exactly the same thing. This year we didn't even do that. If we need anything in our house we just save up and go and buy it. We don't need to wait until Christmas to buy each other something that either we don't really need, or want, or which could have been more useful a month ago, for example.

Great ideas and all that.
Just remember kids, Beeb spelled backwards is Beeb!
