New RetroSoftware section

Post by sydney » Wed Nov 23, 2016 10:32 am

Hi guys.
I thought I'd start a new topic to discuss this so that we don't end up with 30 differently title threads and I don't end up getting several hundred pm's about it!
Let me know if you think three subforums in enough or anything else that needs to be added or changed.
Cheers,
Simon

Good job Simon =D>

I think the best thing is to wait and see how the subforums fill up. BeebAsm used to get a lot of traffic of its own, and one day it might be worth moving BeebAsm topics from 'Development Tools' into a subforum within that, so they're not mixed up with other stuff. But I wouldn't do anything right now... more of a 'wait and see'.

I just see the following:

I'd have assumed it was part of a transition and not said anything, but since other people seem to be able to read the section I thought I'd mention it. Or are you all talking about me behind my back in there? :-)

(Don't worry about the weird vertical line; I think that's a gimp screen grab artefact...)

I assumed they were all empty at the moment. That's what I see too. (Is there a plan to migrate the old RS content here at some point too?)

Perhaps I just misinterpreted Lardo's comment about being able to read the section; I jumped to conclusion he could read some actual posts in there, but maybe not. Or maybe it just looked different at 4pm this afternoon.

They are read / write for me. I just posted three test posts.

I'll leave them up for a bit. But will delete them in due course.

If anyone has any problems with this section, let us know.
