Tremble, losers!

A bit like Moonraider, this one. Not sure I'm going to manage the double-jump thingy on sector two (a flashing blob with a hole right after it.)

And I don't like the way when you push left, you still keep moving right (unlike Rocket Raid etc.) - that will take a bit of getting used to!

There are lots of worse games, though!

Now I would have thought that you would have at least included a suitably rated computer in the process...

The system installation went exceptionally smoothly, and the two-day acceptance test was completed the following Thursday. Lynx will be disassembled at NCAR and stored in the Denver area for shipment worldwide. (Included in price). Installation and shipping is excluded from current price. Expected price $200,000 and above.

Nice one Mark but....however, it cannot replace my wife......I can trust her but can't really trust computers.....I've worked with/on computers, they usually end up failing a person in the end......so far, my wife has not.....(are you listening honey?)

Had a few goes and this is my best so far. The differences from Moon Patrol on the atari are quite significant. I'm sure I'll be able to get a much higher score once I stop trying to play it like moon patrol.

890.

A bit better, got to level 3. This game does do my head in, though - I can't play more than two games without giving up in frustration

Been playing this loads, it's a really good game but it's massively frustrating and often unfair, but when it all falls into place then a good score can be got as shown below, I got to level 3 , think this will be my best score.

Hi Matt,

Similar assessment. I would say about 20% of the play is massively unfair as there is not a thing you can do to preserve Sid's life. That's the frustrating part. In most games, I expect once you learn the level, there should be a consistency to it.

I've noticed that when losing a life that sometimes you can sense a pattern that happens on the next screen but, even though I've played this tons, I can never really be sure.

One tip I think that's worth-while.....don't exactly ignore the spaceship but unless it's an easy kill, concentrate on the 'ground' work. That's where the points come in and often, it's the spaceship that causes the 'unfairness' in this game.

I think that's what is frustrating people, however, having said that.....I love this game.......and I hate it, well at least when it gets unfair.

New, slightly higher score for me......might also be as high as I get.......

God - forgot about this game. It really is a swine. Doesn't help that the batteries are running out on my wireless keyboard, and my brilliantly timed jumps and firings don't register

Hi All,

It was pointed out to me that I left out a score from Sid....actually, I left out 2, Ivor's and Steve's so, that has been rectified.

If you're wondering why the overall scores look a bit different, that will be why.

This points out another important point. Please don't be shy about letting me know I've missed something....I'm very busy so it can happen and I don't want to be the cause of someone missing a position or two by missing things.....

Sorry for the oversight guys, but you're just too darned good....
