When you're not as good as your 6-year-old self was... *sigh*

Once I got past the point I was stuck at - around 17,000 points, I kept losing 2 lives where there are 4 pink baddies moving across the screen releasing other baddies - I got onto stage 9 I think and scored 26980!

Finally beaten my score,my aim was to beat the 30,000 top score, which i've managed to do, Zone 11 it really throws the stuff at you and you have no chance on levels virtually, I got beaten on the level where the yellow and green aliens pretty much fill the screen and go across it , really difficult, would of been nice to have some power ups to help along the way, rather than the standard gun.

I seemed to always lose my lives on either the level with the pink aliens that spew out endless more aliens, either that
or the boss level, if those 2 levels didn't exist i'd of probably completed the game !!

Don't think I can beat this score now, taken ages to get this far, and besides I want to give Mountain Panic I proper go.

Tip: I made note of every level that the spawning aliens cropped out (both the group of four, and those that appear one at a time and spawn while moving from side to side).

If you know when to expect them, you can position accordingly and kill the mummy aliens as soon as they appear. Then those waves are over in a matter of seconds, which makes life so much easier.

Those levels are a nightmare when they're left to fill the screen. It's so difficult to duck in and pick them off.

Over at last! I'm really disappointed that I've had so little time to play this round. It was one of my favourites as a kid and I'm sure I could have broken 30k with a bit more spare time.
