Very slow start. I remember this, think I got to at least 15 or 16 so have to relearn a lot.

I've never played this version, just the speccy version, back in the 80s. I'm not even sure it was out for the Electron (which was the machine I had when I was a kid) but I did have Jet Set Willy and Jet Set Willy II. Hoping it's pretty faithful to the layout of the speccy levels.

The screens seem to be more or less the same as the speccy version (with a few timing differences I think). It's also painfully slow! :( I need to get reacquainted with the levels as I haven't played this in a loooooooonnnngggg time! Here's my first effort.

A second go and I made it to level 7. There's a noticeable difference in Eugene's Lair (apart from the lack of psychedelic flashing colours) in that there's not much room for error at all after collecting the last item.

Second try, haven't played this for years, definitely slower than I remember, or maybe I'm just used to games running faster in general nowadays.

Here's a small increase. I did a video on it as I'm currently doing a series on 8 bit computer games on Facebook (so that's why you can see the video line on the bottom of the picture).

First of all I'd like to apologise for choosing this game.
I'd been it on the Spectrum and thought it would be a good choice.
I hadn't realised it would be so slow and flickery with annoying music and sound and slightly different game mechanics.

Anyway, thats my excuses out of the way, here's my score (and its taken about 10 attempts to get this!)

No apologies needed. In spite of those things, this is a great game. Since it's mostly strategy, slow is ok. Gives you time to think.

Totally terrible at this at the moment. Seems I've lost my abilities in the last couple of years. At least I'm off the first few screens.....slow work this.

Slowly getting there, I still sometimes have trouble on most levels, the timing has to be spot on for the entire run.

Hi all, new to the forum, looking forward to taking part and discovering a few new games. Although my lack of patience and rather slow reaction times means I'm unlikely to get near the top of the score board.

Never played this one before. It was a bit frustrating at first but managed to get a few levels in. May have time to try again later in the week.

And grabbing a camera to take a photo of the score before the boot comes down is a challenge in itself!

And a bit better, have some of the Eugene level figured out. I remember it was slightly convoluted and you had to be really careful, even once you knew how to solve it.

Ok, still stuck on 5 but only because of execution, I have it figured out now so soon upwards and onwards.
