Wut? How is the C key meant to work? Sometimes it killed my jump, other times I seemed to bounce a bit, other times higher? ](*,)

I'd better read the instructions this time, eh? 18412 just so I feel like I've beaten Paul. :D :) :(

High Score Tables Updated......
=D> :D

I've had a few plays, am I doing something wrong or is everything extremely laggish?

'C' is supposed to to boost your bounce if pressed when your moving down, and arrest your bounce if moving up, thing is trying to read it when it's so laggy, also the second level is almost impossible as there is no fine control ](*,) [-o< :-k

This game sounds a bit like Marmite to me (you either love it or you hate it). I'll have a go later.

For the record, I'm one of the ones that hate Marmite

Basically pressing the C button increases the downward force on the ball.
So if you press it on the downward movement it makes it move downward faster, creating a higher bounce.
Pressing it on the way up, reduces the upward impetus, preventing it from bouncing so high.
Hope that helps.

Actually, perhaps better it doesn't.....I might win this round

I've just had my first go and I'm not sure what to make of it. The bounce isn't hugely responsive and the inertia feels really heavy. Despite that I got to level 7 (I think). I'm not really feeling the love for this one at the moment

Yes I agree. I feel the frame rate is quite low and that it could have been a better version. Any programmers thoughts?
Anyway, my first go is here:

Yes, I hadn't read the instructions either! I was using a version for the Compact downloaded from Italy so it didn't have instructions!!

I think this game has something but maybe not enough of it and maybe too much of something else...

Can't really complain as I didn't put up any nominations. #-o 61030

The thing is not to get caught up when the ball goes wrong. Just take a deep breath and slowly try again.
Its one of those cases where slow but sure wins the race (or some old bollocks like that)

Level 5 or 6... need practice with the 'C' key, also need practice with the 'Z' key, and the 'X' key is giving me a few issues as well... apart from that I'm starting to get a feel for it :^o

...and so it ends!
Most disappointingly too.
Had a great game of this this morning and completed level 40 only for the game to simply end and go to the start screen you see below.
No 'well done' or 'congratulations', nothing. :(

So, this game basically quits after 40 levels and whatever you achieve there is it?

Yep, 'fraid so. Bit of a bummer really because I'm sure other versions of it have 60-70 levels.

Don't stop yet fwibbler! In the many pages of instructions you will find how to access levels up to 74.

Here's the first screen in set B:
Screen B-1.JPG
Hopefully it will carry your score through, otherwise you could just submit separate screenshots for your final score on each set. After that you could start designing your own challenges.
