From Venger a platformer of some difficult variety....what? You expected it to be easy?.....

Played a few times while setting up so kind of got the hang of it.....again....at least a bit.

First time since setting the page up and I beat all my other scores......so.....practice, if it's perfect practice does make perfect.

Here's a starter score from me. I haven't played this properly in a long time. This game reminds me of Bubble Bobble a little and is a decent little platformer :) .

I forgot how tricky this game was and the fact that there's lots of traps to remember! There's not much chance to build up huge scores either which should make it interesting...

My starter score! 1430 Never played this before (that’s the beauty of the High Score Competition). Simple controls in a well executed game with quite a different feel. Good choice, Venger! 😀

Yeah, it's not a bad little game but it's quite nippy so you have to watch your step! I got a slightly higher score but only got to level 7 this time, rather than level 9 on my last try. I recall it being on a "Play it again, Sam" compilation when I had it on the Electron.

A little better yet but not to a higher level. I just figured out how to maximize level 2. I wasn't getting all the points available on that level because I wasn't sure how to but now I have it so scores should move upwards a bit from lower levels.

Also, just a slight improvement. I often get stuck on 3 as my hard level at the moment. I'm sure there is a 'fluid' way of achieving it most of the time but those crazy light bulbs are tough to get around.

Yes, I'm still at the point of maximising scores on the early levels - not past level 2 yet! 1810

Good choice this is a great game, liking the smooth motion, cool graphics and minimal but decent sound.

Made it through to level 4, hoping to to get a few more goes in and improve.

I got worried when you mistakenly put 40k instead of 4k!

Here's a score just a little under 6k from level 9.

I've gotten to level 9 a few times now. That level 7 is pretty tough but think I'm getting the hang of it now.

This game always interested me but I'd only played a little bit.

Score 2290. I wasn't able to play this one well on jsbeeb - is it able to remap caps lock? But had a good few goes on BeebEm

I have to say that you're very persistent :D . I've only had about 8-10 games since the championship round started. I may have to have another few goes in a bit if you continue creeping towards my high score
