Points will be awarded using the following formula.
points = (YS / BS * 50) + ((NOP - YP + 1) * (50 / NOP))
YS = Your Score
BS = Best Score
NOP = Number of Players
YP = Your Position

Made it to level 3 'Suction Tubes' with one life only, loved Miner 2049 on Apple IIe BIT so this might be up my alley once I get my eye in and time permitting, great game!

So something probably really simple in this game but I'm not getting how the 'bugs' change from 'gettable' to 'kill me when I touch them'.

What is the trigger that turns them from benevolent to killers and back to benevolent again?

Edit: Figured it out, it's the last page of instructions though not super clear but after a few plays see how it works.

Level 4 'Bob's Playground', getting tricky now and need to minimise lives lost in early levels to have a couple of chances to learn the level.

I do the whole left side moving down each platform in order then move over to the right side and work my way back up to the top.

Slight improvement, made it to level 6 (twice) and did the usual waste lives (twice) with silly mistakes.

Still working through level 3 but it's coming, slowly but surely. The horizontal 'sliders' don't work the way a lot of games do. Once you're on them you don't have to 'run' on them to stay on them, like in Ghouls. That had me for a while, couldn't figure out why I kept falling off. Guess I just like to run.

Awe, c'mon Barbarossa, it grows on you after a while. Give it a chance and you'll see. I kinda felt that way at first too, it's hard but it's fair.

Level 6 high score..... think I have 5 figured out now and can get to 6 with at least 1 life but should be able to get there with at least 2 from now on.
