Don't feel too bad. I think this one is going to be difficult to get a great score.

I'm going to make a ringing announcement. Frenzy was fair, this is not.... it's way too random for my liking. You can 'guess' the movement of the roving lines but it's only a guess and no idea of a pattern when they move. The can go any direction with no rhyme or reason.

Ah well, 8 bit gaming at it's best.

I almost said to you if this comes out the hat choose again, because it's so similar to Frenzy.

Oh well.

That is 2 Qix port/clones, are there any others on the Beeb?

It's almost identical to frenzy gameplay

Great game and very nail biting when trying to make a dash across half the screen.

Liking the vector graphics and music / sound FX.

It's similar to Frenzy but also quite different. I've not given this game much attention in the past as I prefer Frenzy and dislike the randomness of the lines and the thing that kills you if you stop drawing.

First few goes.

I'm sure once this 'clicks' in my head I'll get some good scores. I just hope it doesn't affect my Frenzy skills too much!

Fill small areas quickly and large areas slowly.
Also a "split bonus" achieved slowly gives you 1000 points instead of 100... ;)

You get extra lives every 10,000

I think I've figured out a good strategy, I'll post it later if it works.

I did improve my score a little earlier but I think I shall wait for Syndey’s Secrets (sounds like some sort of day time tv show) or just pay someone to play for me (didn’t see anything about that in the rules :?: )

Damn, this is frustrating. Totally different technique-wise to Frenzy. I think Frenzy's the better game.

Still, I can't stop playing it...

Can't stop playing it like Frenzy. I'm sure if I'd played this instead of Frenzy when I was a lad I'd love it instead but I just can't help feeling cheated every time get caught. I can get a decent score then I'll have 3 games where I don't even get off the first level. Think I'm done for this round.

I'm not giving up yet but I feel much the same otherwise Syd...... I don't believe this is a very fair game. Fair games do have a pattern that you can usually 'latch' onto to further your score. This game feels more like and accident when you achieve a decent score.

The swirly things are a bit unpredicatble. They can be on the other side of the screen, suddenly change direction and speed and come for you. Its like they are a live. Although earlier I manage to go straight through the middle of one as I went parallel to the lines , was an accident, probably unrepeatable.

It's repeatable. I've done that a few times now but it's very unpredictable. I think other strategies are better to employ.
