Points will be awarded using the following formula.
points = (YS / BS * 50) + ((NOP - YP + 1) * (50 / NOP))
YS = Your Score
BS = Best Score
NOP = Number of Players
YP = Your Position

I remember liking this game. It has nice graphics, but the game itself isn't so great. There was a Master version with better graphics and music, I wonder if the gameplay is any different?

exact same (as far as I can tell) exept the music..... (needs MOS3.2 NOT 3.5 or it just crashes )

Can't believe I missed MR EE! I actually played a few games at Bolton and even took a photo of my high score but never got round to posting it.

I had Stryker's run bitd and was not particularly impressed. I remember thinking it looked nice but there wasn't a great deal of gameplay there. I've had a few goes today and got to just over 4000 but I'm sure I'll beat that later on this evening.

Been a while since I played this one, I did get to have a sneaky peek at a PC verson from Superior which was really good, but never appeared. BBC version still looks good, but the game is a bit limited really, enhanced version improves it but not by much, still if this hadn't of happened, we might not have had Codename Droid !

Ach, Strykers Run - a highly appropriate choice, considering it's exactly thirty years old this autumn/pre-Christmas.

This one has always frustrated me, as progress always seems to me to be utterly dependent on whether you can stay in the aircraft long enough to travel past or bomb the enemy's rat-a-tat machine gunners that first appear three aircraft changes in. I find them virtually impossible to master in face-to-face ground combat without losing at least half (and usually more) of my lives. Few of the other land-based assailants provide much of a problem in comparison.

No matter. A couple of hours' graft this evening eventually got me familiar enough again with the old game's nuances to manage the following score. I played the disk version of the BBC Model B original release.

I'm not going to get much time on this, so 6,900 looks like it.
This could have been a great little game with a better sprite routine and not allowing two helicopters to bomb you from both sides of the screen while they move together - no escape!
