Yet another one that it seems never came out on the Electron. I'm getting to play a fair selection of games that are totally new to me this season.

I played this a few years ago - it's really addictive. The graphics are good and the scaling effect is very good... but my favourite feature is the gray effect on the mountains. Hang on a minute, the beeb doesn't have a gray colour! And it no it doesn't, so the programmer instead hacks your eye/brain into believing that layered strips of cyan and magenta are gray!

It's also a good job that emulators let you turn the sound off, though, as this must rank as one of the noisiest beeb games there is.

Ah, that's a bit better. I can see this is going to be one of those 'in the zone' types of games, like most FPSs......

A little better and my last go before bed. A good game although it can get really slow when there are lots of sprites on the screen, understandably. It reminds me of Tempest in that respect.

Nice game! It's hard to watch out for the bullets with all the colourful graphics going on.

Had some practice goes yesterday, today I got a much higher score when I waited to shoot them while flying rather than shooting the stationary ones as fast as possible. Score 11780.

Another small increase. A small criticism of the game is that it can get so hectic, with multiple enemies coming at you from all sides, that it's difficult to get a shot off because of the lag. I think the game's pretty entertaining though.

I've found the game's weakness. It's not a bug or a glitch or anything like that, just a strategy that works. You can still die pretty easily, but it's mostly on you when you do when not paying attention or when you lose concentration.
