I usually give the extra man at the start, but there wasn't enough room for the icons and I was too lazy to make it draw properly!
So, mean and lazy!

Do the cars feel like they are trying to cut you off?
Is the challenging stage challenging, or is there still too much fuel?

The cars definitely feel like they're cutting you off. I'm getting to a stage now where I feel that I probably wouldn't be able to get much further due to the number of cars, rocks, dead ends, etc. There's a sort of "natural limit" that I'm coming close to. I think the balance is pretty good as it is as the games don't last too long and you wouldn't be able to go on for hours (unlike in Scramble).

In my opinion, I quite like the challenging stage as it gives you a bit of a rest. I suppose the challenge would come into it the further into the game you can get, due to the added rocks, dead ends, etc.

Cracked the 100k barrier, gets quite twitchy in later levels.
