Bonecruncher (Commodore)

Does anyone have any details of the layout of the Commodore 64 and Amiga versions of Bonecruncher (i.e. where the maps and passwords are located)?

Hi,

I have sprites and maps as png for amiga if that helps?
A summer ago I started writing a c# version that you could switch between bbc/c64/amiga graphics, and play with a wider fov, i.e zoom out.

Hi Stew,

It may help for one part of what I'm doing, thank you.

I'm actually looking to add the functionality of opening both formats in my Repton Map Display (it already opens the BBC and Electron versions) which, in turn, I can then use to create maps for the Repton Resource Page, which is currently undergoing a major rewrite. In the new look page, the maps are full size resolution and, to save space on storing loads of high-res images, are stored in a CSV file with references into a character atlas. However, there is the functionality to use a PNG map if no CSV and/or character atlas is available.

Cheers,

Gerald.

My memory tricked me, the maps are BBC version, though I do have the amiga sprites if you still want them?

That would be fabby, thank you. I'm guessing that the maps are the same as the BBC version...although I seem to have 1 less password for the Commodore versions than the Acorn versions.

I'll send you a PM with my email address (can't remember if you had it already)
